E3 2013 – Top games to watch

>

With E3 just around the corner and all 3 next gen consoles finally on the table, it’s time to look at what games we should be excited for.

Here is just a short list that I know I will be keeping my eye on once E3 comes around:

Watch Dogs came on everyone’s radar last year at E3 but we only got a tiny glimpse of what the game is about, so we can expect this year we should get a ton of new information. For me, I am just excited about a brand new IP.

The newly announced Arkham Origins seems to have everyone in a buzz already. Being a big fan of the first two installments of the series, I was taken by a surprise to see they were going with sort of a prequel this time around.
The big news and the coolest aspect to me is the ability to play back and forth from Bats to Deathstroke in similar fashion that we could in Arkham city playing as Catwoman.

For me I know it will be pretty cool to take control of Deathstroke in a game.

Grand Theft Auto V is almost here with its September release, but we can still expect to get a ton more juicy details of the game at E3.
Being an avid GTA fan any information about this game has been good information. The difference in this installment being we take control of three main characters as opposed to one singular main character. Should be interesting to see how it all plays out.
GTA-V-Heists

Beyond Two Souls is another game that has been strongly on my radar. From the quantic dream the makers of Heavy Rain, comes a new installment in there cinemaesque video game. It has already got great recognition as a film as well as a game. We can expect to see some great performances by Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe. For me being a massive movie buff as well as a gamer, blurring the lines between games and movies has been very exciting as it is akin to the old “choose your own adventure” books I read growing up. But now we can finally take control of a film and see how it plays out.
